Despite a shaky first qualification lap where he hit the wall in turn 6, Mobin managed to regain his composure and secured pole position with his second lap.
The race started with Mobin taking an early lead, but Joao Lopes quickly overtook him at the bus stop. The two drivers battled it out for 5 or 6 laps before Mobin made a daring move at the bus stop to take back the lead. From then on, Mobin was in a league of his own, finishing the race with a massive 10-second lead over the second-placed driver.
